MCP server
The primary integration. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any other MCP client
can search, read, and write your notes over an OAuth-secured connection.
Full read/write access through twelve tools.
Capture API
A single write-only REST endpoint for saving pages from anywhere —
authenticated with a personal API token. This is what the iOS share-sheet
Shortcut uses.
A word on scope, so you don’t go looking for endpoints that aren’t here: Dexi’s REST API is deliberately small. Personal API tokens authenticate only the capture endpoint — they cannot read your notes. Full programmatic access to your workspace (search, read, create, edit, review) goes through the MCP server, where each connection is approved in the browser and can be revoked at any time. Your published feeds are readable without any credentials.
